Keynote Speaker: Bethany Hamilton
Bethany Hamilton has inspired millions with her story of determination, faith, and hope. At 13 years old, she lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, seemingly ending her career as a rising surf star. But one month after the attack, Bethany returned to the water and won her first national title within two years! She realized her dream of surfing professionally, and since then her story has been told in a New York Times bestselling autobiography, the 2011 film Soul Surfer, and 2018 documentary Unstoppable.
Bethany is involved in many charitable efforts, including the Beautifully Flawed Foundation, which works with amputees and youth. She wrote the book Body and Soul in 2014, and she promotes fitness and healthy living as an athlete.
Bethany has shared her passion for family and youth empowerment in numerous programs and publications. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother, and she continues to touch and inspire lives globally as a surfer and motivational speaker.

She’s the creator and host of The Story Effect, an award-winning podcast and proven framework that transforms the way leaders communicate and connect. That framework is also the subject of her new book, The Story Effect: How Storytelling Creates Connection & Drives Performance.
A former ballerina, Danielle still takes to the stage as a speaker, leading workshops to help people understand the power of stories. She’s passionate about helping others leverage the neuroscience and real-world communication strategies used by some of the world’s most successful businesses today to lead teams and inspire action.
